We encourage participants to engage in an active lifestyle through walking for people with disabilities who are able to walk or move with the use of assistive devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. In fact, walking is the most common form of physical activity reported among active adults with mobility disability. Low-impact activities are recommended because they are less likely to result in physical injury.
We believe in improving their stamina and muscle strength which reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression, improves mood, and promotes good feelings of well-being. Helps control joint swelling and pain associated with arthritis. Engaging them with activities they can do like walking, swimming, playing.
